Short Term Opportunities
India

India provides that uttermost parts of the earth experience. It takes at least a day to get there from the US. It is truly a foreign and pagan culture. Yet those who come to India are forever changed by seeing the lostness and the mighty ways that God is working in this nation of one billion two hundred million.

Our focus in India centers around Church Planting. We believe the only way evangelism can outpace the Indian population growth is through Church Planting Movements (CPM). As a result the ministry opportunities tend to come alongside this CPM work.

In India we partner with IMB workers as we focus on meaningful ways to support their work among indigenous church planters and among new believers.

You will be training new pastors and church leaders in bible study methods, basic doctrines and principles and obedience to the Word. We will utilize you in evangelism and compassionate ministries as bridge builders among cultures.

Our ultimate goal is to knot your hearts to the work, the workers, and the new believers. We really want you to connect to the harvest long term, ultimately to have 100 fold fruit and that through God’s grace your fruit will last for generations.

FOUR WAYS TO MOBILIZE YOUR CHURCH:

  • FIrst, Mobilize in prayer. We believe that faithful focused prayer is essential to seeing fruit.

  • Second, Come and see. There is nothing like witnessing first hand the harvest. You will be forever changed.

  • Next, Send. We believe that from among your church the next generation of missionaries will be called from the US to the harvest in India.

  • Lastly, support a Master Trainer. On average we see over a hundred churches started each year by the Timothy network of one Master Trainer. Our goal is for US churches to support 100 Master Trainers and from this work to see over a million reached in the next 5 years.
