The One Million in Ten ProjectThe project goal is to see one million reached with the gospel in ten years. We believe this can happen through the work of Master Trainers, these are people who train church planting workers in the best ways to plant churches and in the process create Church Planting Movements.
Our goal is that in ten years 100 Master Trainers will have trained minimum of 550,000 pastors and laymen in the best practices of Church Planting Movements (CPM). With our eye on the goal of an exponential movement of church growth resulting in over a million reached for the kingdom.
And we are told that these numbers are conservative.
How Big is the Need in India?Today, dealing with large numbers tends to boggle the mind. We have become numb to millions, billions and trillions.... Our minds tend to glaze over when discussing things like deficits and debt. Unfortunately this also tends to affect our thinking when we consider of the enormity of the task of reaching India.
With close to one point two billion people India has the most lost sheep in the world. in fact, population growth in India will always outpace linear (1+1+1) church growth and the gap will only continue to worsen and grow.
However, Church Planting Movements are by nature exponential (1x3x3) and mathematically it is the only way to reach a billion plus people in India. By focused CPM training many thousands can become effective trainers of exponential church growth methods.
